THE FUTURE OF UX DESIGN
One of the most important aspects of your business is the customer experience. We understand that we must recognize who our customer is through the development of customer personas. Second to that is understanding how our customer behaves. The science of User Experience (UX) is about tracking and measuring customer interaction and using insight to bring about increased satisfaction. The field of UX experts has recently experienced a surge in popularity. More and more companies are recognizing the importance of creating high-quality, usable products. The future of UX may include augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and long-term world-building projects. With many new options coming out very soon, video, virtual reality, and augmented reality will be easier to use (Tam, 2021).
Social Science and Analytics
UX isn’t just about psychology. It is the intersection of social science and analytics. You can provide optimum user experience by having a strong grasp of design, analysis, metrics, surveys, and trends. UX Designers are the bridge to the future. Their knowledge of how people interact with technology can shape a company’s future success and envision how technology will be used in the years to come. Technology is moving at such a fast pace that it’s almost impossible to keep up with the latest trends. It’s crucial to invest in UX design as soon as possible to stay on top of this technological revolution (Tam, 2021).
UX Designers are experienced professionals who know what customers want. They’re critical in the design world and should be sought out by every team (Tam, 2021). According to the Nielsen Norman Group, the number of UXers has increased from 1,000 to 1 million between the 1980’s and 2017. They predict the profession to grow further from 1 million to 100 million UX professionals by 2050 (Browne, 2021).
A Positive Trend
In my business, I see great value in the investment into the latest UX trends. Hotjar is an example of a great platform that blends UX design and analytics in increasingly innovative ways. They offer analytic tools such as heatmaps, session recording, and surveys. This all-in-one information gathering holistically communicates the user’s needs. Through the use of UX analytics, you can create solutions and strategies that will guide your user to the desired outcome. Investing in UX design is now more and more critical for modern businesses (Tam, 2021).
